Bristol Rose Rescue update

Those following our position reports may have noticed that we have experienced a set-back.

On Saturday night around 10pm we were hit with a gust of strong winds while flying a spinnaker. In our attempts to get the sail under control we wrapped a sheet around the propeller. disabling both our ability to motor and more importantly our ability to steer.

We could not fix the problem as sea and need to be rescued by Ligia Elena. We were towed to closed safe harbor, Bahia Pinas after 36 hrs adrift.
